Open live payout feed →The author said their swing strategy struggled during an FTMO challenge and asked about longer-term firms such as The5ers and CTI. The post did not report a clear payout result, so the sentiment is treated as mixed.
Original reddit reviewI recently purchased a 25k challenge from The5ers, and on my very first trade I immediately noticed what looked like manipulated slippage. I placed a sell limit order, it got triggered, but the price was pushed so far down that the trade became completely worthless from the start. This company constantly advertises “tight spreads” and “fair trading conditions,” but my experience was the exact opposite. When I later exited the trade, I experienced slippage again, making the conditions extremely unfair especially combined with their $4 commission per lot. I contacted support and requested a refund. Instead of properly addressing the issue, they kept repeating the same scripted response about refunding the money through “Credit Hub.” I rejected this multiple times because I wanted a proper resolution. After that, I explained the whole situation to PayPal, but unfortunately PayPal sided with them. At that point, I felt like I had no other option left, so I finally accepted the refund through Credit Hub. I received the money, but here comes the most ridiculous part: as shown in the email, they claim that “a chargeback was initiated on your payment.” The case status never changed they simply paid the money through Credit Hub and still treated it as a chargeback. And because of that, they now permanently block you from trading with The5ers again, claiming you initiated a chargeback. In my opinion, this company should not be operating at all. My entire experience with them felt dishonest and manipulative from beginning to end.
Got funded. After while, failing accounts, I am now Funded
LITERALLY THE WORST PROP FIRM OUT THERE, today is march 16 2026, trading hours have started and the 5ers may have forgot the billing from MT5 and decided not to pay the platform, alllll the traders got literally scammed, no SL was getting hit, all trades were going way past the sl and the tp, literally trades being out by themselves, then after alllll this, live support wasn’t available and no agents were out there to help any of the traders, and the cherry on top was that the5ers decided to change everything about the profit factors u need to pass to hit the funded account, and increased them from 8%-10% without no prior notice saying that they’ll be changing that for all account… you go and you ask for an explanation and they’re like OOHHHH WE HADD A TECHNIQUAL ERRORRR GUYS WERE SORRY, FORGIVE US, bruh why in the world should i forgive you, i ain’t here to play with you that’s my whole ass career. and above all that They mentioned that the losses are totally upon the trader and non of their business…. solid advice, don’t go near them, FTMO never does you wrong neither do fundingpips. F THE5ers
I need to warn the trading community about my experience with The5ers. **Background:** I successfully passed their challenge and began trading live. Over the course of my trading, I earned approximately 4,000 EUR in profits with a 90% win rate. I followed every single rule - this is all verifiable in my trading history. **What Happened:** After earning these profits, The5ers required me to do a "verification interview" to prove I was the account operator. During this interview: - They recorded my face on video the entire time - The interviewers kept their cameras OFF - I couldn't see who I was talking to - I was under extreme pressure to explain my trading strategy verbally - I have diagnosed complex PTSD and anxiety disorder, which severely affects my ability to articulate under high-pressure situations - I became visibly distressed during the interview and was crying on camera - They did not accommodate my medical condition **The Result:** The5ers terminated my account based SOLELY on my interview performance, NOT my actual trading results. They are now refusing to pay me ANY of the 4,000 EUR I legitimately earned. My trading history objectively proves: - 90% win rate - No rule violations whatsoever - I am the sole operator of the account **Why This is Wrong:** Using a high-pressure verbal interview as the ONLY basis for termination when objective trading data exists is discriminatory and against industry standards. Recording someone with a documented disability while they're crying, with interviewers hiding their faces, is predatory behavior. The5ers owes me 4,000 EUR for profits I legitimately earned. **Warning to other traders:** Avoid The5ers. If you have a disability that affects verbal communication, they will use it against you to withhold your earnings, regardless of your actual trading performance.
